Audio Visual Services- who we are
The AV department provides audio visual support for faculty, staff, and students for Johnson School classrooms during regular business hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST. Emergency support is available by calling us at 607-255-6353 during those business hours.
Classroom Reservations
Classroom reservations are made through the Registrar’s Office. Email them at RoomRequests@johnson.cornell.edu Please note that some classrooms require advance notice.
Software on classroom computers
Classroom computers come pre-installed with the following software.
- PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- MediaPlayer Classic Home Cinema, VLC Player, QuickTime, Windows Media Player
- Antivirus software
To ensure a robust and stable classroom environment, we do not allow additional software to be installed. A simple reboot will restore the classroom computer to its original settings and remove any data stored on the hard drive. All classroom computers reboot nightly.

All equipment is rented on a first come, first served basis; our supplies are limited. To make inquiries or reserve any audio/visual equipment, send an email to av@johnson.cornell.edu.
