Lost and Found located in Room B36. Contact Joe Jacoby if you have either misplaced something or want to turn in a found item. Items lost or found during regular business hours - 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, should be turned in to the Lost & Found Office located on the Classroom level. Joe Jacoby is responsible for maintaining this inventory. Rather than sending out a spam alerting everyone to the fact that you are missing an item or have in your possession something of value that you stumbled upon, please check Lost & Found and avoid the spam. After 4:30 p.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday, and on weekends, items found in Sage should be turned in to the Library for safe keeping. Similarly, if you find that you have lost something during these times, check with the Library staff to see if what you are looking for has been turned in. Joe Jacoby will retrieve found items first thing each morning and make them available throughout the day. Checking Lost & Found first in either location, depending on the schedule indicated vs. spamming everyone, will cut down significantly on the number of e-mails.
Items of clothing will be held for a reasonable amount of time and then donated to charity if left unclaimed. More valuable items, including laptops, calculators, etc. will be turned over to the Cornell Police in Barton Hall if no one reports them missing or claims them after one month.
